There's always lots going on in the world of kayaking and ATK is no exceptions. Here's some upcomming events around the Olympic Peninsula.

ATK Friday Evening Paddle: Friday evenings from 6 - 8 PM; This paddle is free or by donation to benefit the Humane Society. Rental kayaks and kayak transportation are available for a small fee. A guide/instructor will be along to answer any questions. This complimentary outing is geared towards all kayakers and levels. Put it on the calender and start your weekend off with a little kayaking. Please call and let us know you will be joining us.

Puget Sound Sea Kayak Symposium: May 17 & 18, 2008; Paddlers and non-paddlers alike will enjoy this weekend! Classroom presentations, vendor booths, on-water classes and boat demos cater to all ages and abilities. Location: Metro Parks Tacoma

Hoebuck Hoedown - Pacific North Coast Surf Festival: May 24 & 25, 2008; Come join us for the second annual Hobuck Hoedown, a surfing festival at Hobuck Beach, a small gathering of friends, surfing, and hopefully great waves. Location: Hobuck Beach, Neah Bay Washington

First Annual "Doggie Paddle" & Pet Adoption Day: July 12, 2008; A benefit for the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. Held at Lake Sutherland, we'll be offering kayaking to anyone who would like to give it a try. Super stable kayaks, some that are open so you can even bring fido will be available.

Want to get fido a canine life preserver (CFD?) Give us a call with your dogs size and we'll bring it along. Bring your friends, neighbors, and family. The fun begins at 10 AM, meet at the public boat launch via South Shore Rd. and Yew Tree Rd; where there is plenty of room for kayaking and picnicking.

Kayak Demo Days: Any time!; Did you know you can demo kayaks any day of the week? After talking with our staff about your kayaking goals, we will select a number of kayak options that fit your needs and with an instructor go give them a test drive.

Paddling a few different kayaks that are set up specifically for you will give you confidence when purchasing a boat. Give us a call for this personalized service.
