 - My name is Jim Baxley and this is my second season as a guide for Adventures Through Kayaking. I work full time as an EMT for Olympic
Ambulance. I am also a volunteer firefighter/EMT for Clallam County Fire District 3 where I am on the Technical Rescue Team. On this team, I am a swiftwater rescue and ropes rescue technician. Aside from kayaking, I rock climb, surf, snowboard, backpack, and mountain bike.
All of our kayaking guides are devoted to the Northwest! We are enthusiastic about kayaking the wonderfully majestic outdoors of the Olympic Peninsula and the Strait of Juan de Fuca waters - the bays, rivers and estuaries - we are knowledgeable of the local history, geology, flora, fauna, and legends.
