Are you ready for whitewater? Rafting and inflatable kayak tours are a fun and exhilirating way to explore our waterways that flow off the foothills and mountains of Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park. As most areas, our rivers are fed by both snow melt and rain, so plan your river trip earlier in the season. The best whitewater rafting is March through early June on most Olympic Peninsula rivers. For river fun later in the season, June through September, we highly recommend inflatable kayaking or the Hoh River scenic float trip.

Sol Duc River
You will paddle over a dozen Class II and III wave trains, drops and boulder gardens of the Sol Duc River, blasting your way through "Dirty Harry, Electric Slide, and Smooth Criminal." Your half day adventure is packed with a super combination of scenery and whitewater, by far the most exciting whitewater available commercially on the entire Olympic Peninsula. it up,' rafting the Sol Duc is sure to put a smile on everyone. You can expect to be outfitted with all the proper gear to keep you warm and comfortable while on your 3.5 hour journey. Hoh River
Originating high atop the Mt. Olympus glaciers, this six mile, ½ day outing is perfect for the whole family. Scenic and splashy, Class I and II, learn about the history, geology, and forest ecology comprising the Olympic Peninsula while meandering down and through the Hoh Oxbow Canyon. 2 hour trip, $55.
Inflatable Kayaking
Would you like to be in charge of your own boat? If so, inflatable kayaking is just for you. Learn how to maneuver and control your own kayak on mild mannered sections of the Sol Duc and Hoh Rivers. Prepare to get wet. Paddling this close to the waves is wet, wild and fun! 3.5 hour trip, $75.
